Scheduled Maintenance August 16th and 23rd

We will be expanding  the cluster running Zendesk on Saturday the 16th. This operation will result in about 10 minutes downtime. We aim at doing this Saturday morning at 7AM UTC (what's this in my time zone?)

A new set of features will go into production on Saturday the 23rd. This operation will result in about 1 hour of downtime. We aim at doing this in the morning at 7AM UTC also.

Note: Exact downtime duration and time og the operation may vary slightly depending on how things fare. Usually we do these sort of things without anyone noticing.

Update: The August 16th upgrade went without a hitch and minimal downtime.

Scheduled Maintenance Downtime July 19th

We'll be pushing a lot of infrastructural changes into production in the coming weekend. We aim to do this on Saturday the 19th, and expect this to be done in the early morning EST. We estimate a 1 hour down time at most. Email communication may experience delays over the weekend as we are going to be doing some updates in this area in order to better manage spam.

Downtime March 15

Zendesk experienced about 4 hours of downtime Saturday from approx 11 am CET (2 am PST). The downtime was due to a power outage at our hosting center. Incidents like this will happen, but should naturally be at a minimum. Thankfully we have an army of rocket scientists to run our facilities, and thankfully this happened during a weekend at a time that was somewhat convenient for most of our customers.

There's a four hour scheduled downtime again tomorrow for a hardware move. This physical hardware move will take place on Sunday, March 16th, 9 am CET (right after midnight PST).
